FareShare is the UK’s biggest charity fighting hunger and food waste – diverting surplus food, which would otherwise go to waste, to people at risk of hunger through our network of frontline charities and community groups nationwide.

I have written this book during lockdown because I wanted to combine my passion for cooking with raising money for charity. It has been great interviewing the best people in the world in the food and drinks sector.
“A huge thank you to the incredible Alfred for supporting FareShare. Funds raised through this book will make a huge difference to our organisation. They will be helping to get good food out to communities, who are facing hunger across the UK. We whole-heartedly share in Alfred’s passion for food. Across our warehouses, FareShare delivers an enormous variety of surplus food including fruit, vegetables, dairy, meat, tins and more. This food helps tackle hunger, giving people the opportunity to try new ingredients and cook recipes they might not have been able to afford otherwise. At FareShare, it is our strong belief that everyone should have access to a good meal and the chance to enjoy a healthy nutritious diet. Thanks to Alfred and his wonderful book more people will be able to do just that.”
In this book, there are mentions of wine and other alcoholic drinks, always drink responsibly!
